What We Do
Our goal at Howlett Farms is to give every farmer access to the best and most reliable markets in the Northeast. Whether you are selling one load or 100, we give you the price discovery options available to commercial sized traders. Contrary to popular belief, we do not rely on changes in the Chicago Board of Trade to profit.
We strive to get farmers the highest price available in a given marketing cycle, while responding to both their individual needs and global market indicators. We bridge the gap created when farmers want a high price in a defined shipment period, but end-users seek a low price in a different time frame.
Today, we partner with over 50 end-use customers. These partners which include exporters, ethanol plants, feed mills, flour mills, pet food plants, fish food makers, cattle feeders, poultry farms, and distilleries.
Our focus on Grain Marketing, Risk Management and Customer Service is intended to strengthen the operations of our customers, allow them to prosper and grow their production.
You grow. We grow.
